Before being hired, they are required to successfully complete an extensive training course that includes pre-trip inspections, safe driving techniques, emergency procedures, customer service, and grooming. Patrick Kevin O’Brien
Patrick O’Brien received his undergraduate education at Loyola Marymount University and his Post-Graduate education at Gonzaga Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate and was Associate Editor of the Law Review.
Upon graduation from Law School, Mr. O’Brien joined the prestigious law firm of Ropers, Majeski, Kohn and Bentley, ultimately becoming the youngest partner ever named at the successor firm of Lanahan & Reilley.
Mr. O’Brien left Lanahan & Reilley in 1999 to become a founding partner and General Counsel of Peak Attractions, LLC. Peak Attractions, LLC was a tourism firm that operated various attractions in high-volume locations. Mr. O’Brien was primarily responsible for operating the firm, marketing new clients, and obtaining financing for the firm. Ultimately Peak Attractions, LLC operated in 20 sites throughout the world including SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld, California, Busch Gardens, Tampa, Pier 39, Mandalay Bay Resorts, Circus Circus Hotel and Casino, MGM Mirage, Stratosphere Tower, Six Flags Marine World and Paramount’s Great America to name a few of the locations. Peak employed over 200 during its high season.
In 2006 Mr. O’Brien joined a group, which has invested in real estate in Panama, ultimately leading to the start of PANLUX. During his five trips to Panama over the last year Mr. O’Brien recognized the ongoing and potential growth of the Panamanian tourism industry. Mr. O’Brien and his group have identified many potential tourism-related opportunities in Panama, and have chosen PLL as the logical next step for PANLUX.
Mr. O’Brien plans on spending whatever time is required on the ground in Panama to assure that this business will be operated in a safe and professional manner.
